Brace yourself

So, Susie and I went to the GNC (General Nursing Council) yesterday to check on our results. We spent the walk there convincing ourselves that the results wouldn't even be in yet as we were told the last week of July. We get inside and glance at the board- shock, there are papers there. Neither of us could look at them. We breathed in and out, turned... I said, "I failed." Susie said, "I failed." Disappointment, but we've been preparing ourselves for this. Then, "Wait a minute, these are still the results from our November exam!"

Whew. Well sometimes no news is better in the moment than bad news ;).
