How to open a clinic out of a storeroom...
We came with all kinds of supplies...
and furniture...
and medicine...
and paperwork...
Now it was just a matter of getting it in working order- yikes!
So everything went into a huge tent while we painted the room...
and ourselves (oops!)...
and the floor (oops, big time!)...
and unpainted the floor...
We put up our sturdy shelving.
And organized,
labelled,
and inventoried
until we felt like throwing things out just so we didn't have to record that we owned them! ;)
And finally we were done-whew!
Later we hope for totes to make things look more organized, rather than boxes, extra shelving, and maybe someday a larger facility. But, we are excited about what we have.
And then, the day before we opened up the clinic for the first time, Shannon called to say that our test results were in and we both had passed and could practice freely! Wow! What a confirmation from the Lord!
