Expansion


We had a new couple arrive at the base this month. Hugo and Salome are from South Africa. They left both of their kids there and have begun a two-year commitment on the base. They are interested in doing Children's Ministry and have moved into 'our' old house for the time being. While they are orientating themselves Salome has been a HUGE help for us. She stuffs pill bags and measures out cough syrup and children's tylenol for us to give out to patients. Invaluable! We have been so blessed to get to know them.

We are all settled into our new house and are working on being 'cute.' :) Susan and I realized that living in Zambia, in the bush, we have become rather utilitarian and wondered if it was still possible for us to be cute at the same time. More on that later. However, we did purchase some little shelves and a matching towel rack and tp holder for our bathroom in our efforts towards cuteness.
