Commissioning, Camp, and Craziness

It's true, I went away again :). I just can't seem to stay in one place- check out the picture page for a few sights.

I just returned from Highlands' High School Camp in Canada where I got to be a counselor for six awesome young women- so much fun! Totally last minute, but I got the neat opportunity to share about my own missions journey and how God is launching me into full-time ministry.

I also spent this weekend being commissioned to go out into Zambia- a step of faith since I don't yet have my complete funds... :) But, that's what this is all about, right? And, truthfully, I do believe God has prepared me to leave in September. All I need financially is $300-350 per month. With three-and-a-half weeks to go this leaves me with plenty of time... right? Hehe, well, maybe not plenty, but enough for Him to work with! Please continue to pray with me that God will bring this in (and in abundance as some other Zambia missionaries are suffering from lack of monthly support)!

Thanks for walking this journey with me and I'll keep you posted on how close I'm getting to Zambia!
