Christmas Day!

Christmas was a true melding of traditions here. It was wonderful. In fact, much better than I thought it would be. I slept over with Megan and Susan and we woke up to 'stockings' in the form of santa hats. Susan made her families' simikucha (a German sweet bread) and I made my families' oyster stew for breakfast. We had a lovely roast beef dinner with Megan's families' Christmas pudding for dessert.

Stephanie,
I came across your blog while checking out the Stranberg's blog. We were blessed to visit Zambia for 3 weeks last January in order to see Blake Walburg (we also got to meet Susan!). I was wondering if you could tell me a little bit about how you obtained your midwifery certificate. If you have time I'd be curious to hear more about it. Your passion for Christ and showing mercy to the poor is inspiring.
Thank you,
Angela Shupe
