My big movie debut
Guess who finally decided to join the twenty-first century? :)
Well, the S-squad (Shannon, Shannon, Susie, and Stephanie) went to Livingstone for a
few days to enjoy the exotic corners of Zambia... and a bit of Zimbabwe, Namibia, and Botswana. We saw Victoria Falls (one of the seven wonders of the world, in case you didn't know), hiked down the canyon, Shannon C. jumped the falls (tied to a rope), lunar rainbows (ones you see at night by the light of the full moon- they look like rainbow ghosts), and lots of animals. And, of course, ate lots of good food. Here are some pictures of our trip as well as a little bit of raw footage (just for fun)!
This is one of the highest bridge bungees in the world!
And, no, I didn't drive the safari vehicle. We might have seen more animals that way... just kidding!
We first took a river safari (along the coasts of Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Namibia) and saw all kinds of wildlife (the first picture is a breed you may have never seen before... unless you've been to our Farm)
What animal kills the most people in Africa per year?
Actually, it's hippos!
Our guide, Rambo!
My very own Degas watercolor photo :)
Back on land again
I learned some important lessons on this trip (don't worry, I wrote them down for the next time I get to lead a safari...). If you want to find a certain kind of animal, just follow their tracks...
Giraffee tracks
Elephant tracks :)
The end- time to head home
Four places at once- the river touches the shores of Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Namibia!
And this wasn't even the tallest termite mound we saw on the way home!!
